Flaked and Cast TNT Samples
Flaked Trinitrotoluene (TNT), is simply broken-up, irregular small chunks and flakes of cast yellow explosive.
Often they are left over from the hot-melt casting process, used to fill grenades, mines and mortar rounds.
Some countries mix these flakes with wax and press them into blocks in a hollow rectangular mould.
