Securesearch, Inc. publishes 46 of our own  full-color, technical posters. They are based on the more than 60 display boards produced by our company. Objects are shown life-sized on most posters, and larger-than-life on a few of them. They are generally supplied to you plastic film laminated, front and back, unless a customer requests unlaminated (paper only) posters. There are several lamination options. The protective film is available  matte (a non-reflective, dull finish, preferred when posters are to be used in locations subject to glare from reflected window light, or overhead lights); more commonly, they are supplied glossy, (high-gloss, crystal clear, but slightly reflective of window images and angled lighting-- which may show flaring or hot spots to people in some locations in the room). Posters may be supplied with the laminating film machine-trimmed flush to all four edges of the paper. Alternatively, we can supply the posters "encapsulated"-- a 1/4 inch / 6mm wide margin of film extends beyond all four edges of the paper. Encapsulating seals the front film overlap to the back film overlap, and ensures that the poster paper does not absorb moisture from humid air; moisture absorption can cause de-laminating of the film adhesive, so it comes away from the poster. Encapsulation is slightly more costly, as all the edges have to be trimmed by hand, rather than automatically by machine. It also allows the user to mount the posters on the wall with thumb tacks pushed through the film margin, rather than through the paper.  We can also provide posters, on request, with Velcro hook tape on each back corner. This facilitates rapid mounting/dismounting onto a large Velcro loop cloth backdrop surface, in some instructional scenarios. Most posters are 24" X 24" in size ( 61cm X 61 cm). A few are slightly larger, and a few others are slightly smaller. We offer the posters in larger sizes, if required, and prices will be quoted for oversized paper and laminating film, upon request. We can also supply them in a spiral-bound book format (8-1/2 inches X 11 inches, or 22cm X 28cm). This format is supplied with a companion volume with additional technical information about the illustrated items, that could not be placed on the posters themselves. We also distribute 281 other technical posters from two British publishers, and 18 more from a South African publishing company. Their posters are available loose (individually)in complete sets, or bound into different sized ring binders and booklets. Some are large format, others are pocket-sized booklets, containing additional technical data. Many of the posters sold by our company contain information restricted to law enforcement, government security and military agencies, and sales of those posters are strictly limited to authorized end-users. We screen and verify all purchase requests. Prices are published in our current product price list, available from any Securesearch authorized sales representative.

DETONATING CORD LAYOUT PATTERNS

Detonating cord is most commonly used to link many explosive charges together. It detonates at the average rate of 7-8000 meters per second (about 23,000 feet per second, or almost 5 miles per second). This results in the explosive shock wave initiating many charges in sequence, almost instantaneously. This poster and matching display board, illustrate some common recommended layout patterns for this product. PLEASE SEND INFORMATION REGARDING THIS POSTER
